3 Healthy Protien Breakfast Recipies

When you think of a healthy protein breakfast you might think of eggs, bacon and steak. Believe it or not there are alternative things you can get and still get a great dosage of protein. Thanks to Dr. Oz here are 3 protein breakfast ideas.

1. Super Protein Muffins

Ingredients

3/4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
3/4 cup whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp lemon extract
1/2 tsp Stevia
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt

 

2. Protien Pancakes

Ingredients

1/2 quick cooking oats
3/4 cup oat flour
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
2 eggs
1/2 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup cooked mashed sweet potatoes
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tbsp honey
3/4 cup milk
Grapeseed oil for cooking

3. Protien Packed Oatmeal

Ingredients

Ingredients
1 cup unsweetened almond milk or water
1⁄2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1⁄2 cup your favorite berries
